REBUILDING V.BAY DOCK ACCESS
The Municipality of Machin is accepting tenders for road construction services required for the 2021 season – Rebuilding V.Bay Dock Access.
Project description/scope of work and tender forms may be picked up at the Municipal Office in Vermilion Bay between work hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.
Tenders will be accepted until Friday May 21st ,2021 at 2:00 pm local time, and opened at the Municipal Office immediately following the close of the tender call. The Closing has been extended until Friday May 28, 2021 at 2:00 pm local time. Due to an addendum.
The lowest tender bid will not necessarily be accepted.
Tenders shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Rebuilding V.Bay Dock Access Tender – 2021” to:

The 2021 Budget will be passed at this Meeting.

Regular Council Meeting will be held at 2:00 pm.

Due to COVID-19 and Social Distancing the Meeting will be held virtually via Zoom.  The general public may attend this meeting via Zoom also, but must contact the Municipal Office at 227-2633 to register for it. Registration deadline is Friday, April 23, 2021 4:00 p.m.

Recordings of this meeting can also be made available to the public.

Cascade Road Bridge Closed to Heavy Vehicle Traffic

Please take Notice:

A recent bridge assessment on the Cascade Bridge in Eagle River completed by Engineering Consultants has brought to Machin’s attention that load restrictions must be implemented immediately. Effective immediately, the Cascade Road Bridge, is closed to all heavy vehicle traffic. The bridge will remain open to light vehicle and pickup truck traffic only, until further notice.

May 2 – 8, 2021 to be Emergency Preparedness Week.

Please review your escape routes from your home and make a list of items you need to take if you have to leave your home in case of an emergency. Please have a safe Emergency Preparedness Week.
